Ketan Sukkawala, DDS
Dr. Sukkawala grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, and attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in San Antonio, he practiced general dentistry in Temple, Texas for the next five years. After seeing many children in his practice, he decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Ohio, where he provided comprehensive clinical care for well children and those with special needs including emergency care, procedures in the dental office using conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room and in the office under general anesthesia. Dr. Sukkawala is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
For children requiring their treatment in the hospital, Dr. Sukkawala has privileges at The College Station Medical Center (The Med) and at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.
Personally, Dr. Sukkawala is married to Jothi and they have three boys, Rohen, Ravi, and Rian. His hobbies include playing tennis, traveling, hiking, and hanging out with his family.

Larry Kalke, DMD
Dr. Kalke grew up in Southern Utah. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Utah, and attended dental school at CASE Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. After completing an Advance Education in General Dentistry at CASE, he decided that helping children was where his passion was and chose to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
He completed his specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Ohio, where he learned to provide comprehensive dental care for well children and those with special needs including emergency care, procedures in dental office using conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room and office under general anesthesia. Dr. Kalke is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. He also enjoys spending time at CE courses keeping up-to-date with the current technologies that are available.
For children requiring their treatment in the hospital, Dr. Kalke has privileges at The College Station Medical Center (The MED), and at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan.

Brian Barras, DDS, MS
Originally from Arlington, Texas, Dr. Barras moved back to the area where he started his Aggie journey. Dr. Barras graduated with honors from Texas A&M University in 2004 with a degree in biomedical science. He also studied abroad in Salamanca, Spain.
After graduating, Dr. Barras worked for two years as a scientist for Lockheed Martin Space Operations at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. There he assisted with astronaut and cosmonaut training. In 2007, Dr. Barras fulfilled his passion for serving in the healthcare profession and enrolled at Baylor College of Dentistry. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2011 and began his residency program in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Barras is Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry. He completed his pediatric dental training at Children’s Medical Center Dallas and Texas Scottish Rite Hospital where he worked with many children who had special health care needs. Dr. Barras trained extensively in various behavior management techniques, including oral sedation and dental care in the operating room under general anesthesia. He is committed to providing high quality oral health care to all children, regardless of their physical, emotional, or intellectual conditions.
He currently has hospital privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital and College Station Medical Center.
Dr. Barras married his Aggie wife, Courtney, in College Station in 2006. They have three wonderful children; Hannah, Andrew, and Mary. Dr. Barras and his wife enjoy traveling, exercising as a family, and volunteering at their church. Dr. Barras also fulfills his interest in music through playing the saxophone and piano.

John Case, DDS, MS
Dr. John Case was born in Tennessee, but mostly grew up in Houston, Texas. He graduated from Bellaire High School and attended Texas Tech University. He graduated with the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston and subsequently practiced general dentistry and served as an Assistant Professor at the Dental Branch. Dr. Case then entered the pediatric dentistry residency program, training in Houston at Texas Children’s, Hermann, and M.D. Anderson hospitals, and in Galveston at John Sealy Hospital and the Shriner’s Burn Institute. He also served as Pediatric Dentistry Chief Resident at Texas Children’s Hospital. He has practiced in Temple, Texas, and in Bryan/College Station and is board certified.
In addition to pediatric dentistry, Dr. Case has also completed an orthodontic residency at the University of Texas Dental Branch-Houston, earning the Master of Science degree. Since then he has practiced two dental specialties together as one of the few in Texas who is dual-trained as both a pediatric dentist and an orthodontist. He has been on the medical staff at King’s Daughter’s and Scott and White Hospitals in Temple, Texas, and is currently on the medical staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan and at the College Station Medical Center.
Dr. Case and his wife, Laura, have four children–Angela, David, Sarah, and Stephen, son-in-law Jason, daughter-in-law Ronica, daughter-in-law Bronwyn, granddaughters Helen, Jadyn, Carabelle, Hope, Kyrlie, Amelia, and Waveland, and grandsons Isaac and Asher. Outside of the office, he enjoys hiking, biking, camping, canoeing, snow skiing, photography, volunteer service, Bible study/teaching, and 12th Man Foundation membership.
